Facility Location in Cloud Computing Environments
The problem of facility location was considering assuming virtual machines as facilities in cloud computing environments.
Simulation for the replication part of the s-UFL policy for three different random geometric graph topologies (different values of r_c). (a) Cost C^{F_t} as a function of time t. (b) Number of facilities |F_t | as a function of time t. Obviously, as time increases, cost C^{F_t} reduces (towards the optimal C^O) and the number of service facilities increases (towards O).
