Alexandros Zervopoulos has received his B.Sc. degree as well as his M.Sc. degree in Informatics from the Department of Informatics, Ionian University, Greece in 2019 and 2021, respectively. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the same department. His Ph.D. revolves around resource optimization in softwarized-virtualized networking environments. His research interests include computer networks, network optimization and machine learning. He has interned as a software engineer for PDM&FC as an undergraduate, working on the development of an online serious game platform. Furthermore, he has worked for the Network & Operations Center (NOC) of the Ionian University. Through his professional experience and research activities, he has gained experience as a system administrator.
